Based on the eternally youthful Wonder Boy series, a nice variety of levels open up from the village as you progress, then can return to the village to rest or boost your armoury in the shop. The time honoured tradition of adding additional unlockable abilities is used to neat effect as you can breath fire as a dragon, sneak under objects as a mouse, fly like a bird, swim like a frog or fight like a tiger demon straight out of Monkey Magic. These abilities can be then used to explore previously unreachable areas.
