Airgrave
Vertically scrolling shooter utilising the ground and air targets well as it requires a separate weapon to take out land based adversaries. Whilst the game is predominantly 2D the hard knock bosses appear in 3D making for a nice contrast. Thankfully each ship can take a few hits before being destroyed, especially helpful under a barrage of enemy fire. Four different selectable ships, each with their own unique strengths and story adding to the replay factor.
