Delivery Information

We send our games via Royal Mail. We recommend, where feasible, packages are sent via Special Delivery in the UK. When it comes to the unique, one-off retro games and hard to find hardware, we prefer to use the most secure method of delivery to maintain our high standards of service from site to door. We also use Royal Mail 24/48 which is only tracked once it has been delivered.

UK standard delivery utilises Royal Mail 24 or 48 hour services, but these delivery times are not guaranteed. Items sent via RM24 or RM48 are scanned on delivery. Therefore tracking is limited.

UK Special Delivery is a more secure service within the Royal Mail mailing system starting at £9.00 for up to four games with incremental increases for additional games. Guaranteed for next day delivery before 1pm to the vast majority UK addresses. Packages are fully traceable online. Also included is basic insurance up to £500.

International (Europe & Rest of World) standard sized packages are sent via Royal Mail Tracked (or Signed For, for countries where Tracked is not available.) This is a traceable service for Europe and ROW customers packages to ensure speedy and safe delivery of airmail small packets overseas. Items can be traced online and Genki will insure the package as appropriate to the value of the order. While times vary with destination, delivery is rapid with items on the next available flight out of the UK and items also receiving priority handling abroad.

The Small Print

Please note postage is calculated by our sliding scale. There is a basic charge for one item that is calculated according to destination. These charges are in the table below. However extra items will not necessarily incur extra postal charges within the UK. The best way to calculate the exact postage cost would be to add the items to the shopping cart and select your destination. This is especially true for hardware or bulky games due to the varying weights and sizes of items.

* 1 game of cd/dvd size = 1 unit, boxed games are usually 2 units (as a cardboard box has to be used for packing soft boxed games). Hardware varies depending on its size and weight.

Parcels over 2KG

GenkiVideoGames.com uses the above services where possible for all UK orders weighing over two kilo’s. This ensures we can get the games sent that same day, without needing to book a courier. Some bulkier items may require to be sent via ParcelForce, however. Heavy overseas orders over 2kg may also sent by the EMS backed ParcelForce via express services. International delivery times vary with the speedy EMS backed courier.
