Alas Pa-man never made the bigtime, the name not quite rolling off the tongue like Mario and Rockman. Yet this gent, looking a bit like an extra from the entertaining Anpanman anime, has all the attributes to have been one of gaming's greats. Despite being unlikely to features in The Times 100 all time gaming characters, Paman not only enters pipes but carries them along, besides being able to blast through blocks as opposed to uncivilised head butting. A top platform platter.
