Last Resort

Perhaps its the Akira style futuristic backgrounds or maybe the solid play mechanics that have helped Last Resort age so well. Unique deflector shot that bounces of walls, and even enemies, helps it stand out from the R Type clone crowd. Tough, but not on a similar sweaty arm pit scale as Viewpoint. But players are reminded to blink.
