Cave seems to have replicated one of its arcade escapades on the 3DS and it looks and plays like a treat. Taking a tank based approach to shooting mayhem, the polygon count could only have been dreamed of on home based, yet alone handheld system, only a generation ago. Power up cards change weaponry and add an extra element to the involvement in a very polished title. Not surprising with input from the creator of Radiant Silvergun and Ikaruga.

Bowser comes to the fore as Mario & Luigi negotiate through his body whilst Bowser himself happily romps around terra firma. Colourful, clear graphics help eagle eyed players spot the key to progress. Lashing of the Big N, triple-A polish.

Beast battling game with quite a legion of followers in Japan so it is with some pride Nintendo bring it to the 3DS. Its easy to see why though with expertly rendered ogres to lay into with precision planned armouries all looking very easy on the eye and making the very most of the hardware. Oozes with the Capcom polish of a triple A release.
