Remake of the SFC classic with slight tweaks to the control method and the chance to control the Vanzar units from the PSX title, but otherwise thankfully little else has been changed to the thoroughly believable gaming world as mech’s troop about their business. Of course this version makes full use of the DS stylus for quick and slick controls. A lesson in strategy combat titles that’s truly absorbing and well worthy of the Squaresoft label. Praise due to the Cybernator creator Toshio Tsuchida's work on the mecha design which have been realised beautifully on the detailed DS screen.
