Kazekiri was a late release for the Engine set in ancient Japan crawling with ninjas. Luckily our hero has few manovueres of his own such as becoming invisible besides being able to bring justice to the Princess' captors via the cold steel katana, or a volley of shurikens. A visual feast for the eyes with ginormous sprites and multi layer parallax to complement the exotic and atmospheric choice of setting. The cut scenes also build up the scene and tension as does the appropriate music. Thankfully the controls are very tight as ninjas have high AI and look to avert your slashes with the sword.
