Well illustarted intro sets the scene: Fujiro, being a private eye and part time Black Lodge Hunter, is hired by the stunning Maria to hound down the members of a dark, gothic order led by Castlevania look a likes. Hence the side scrolling beat 'em up action shifts from out the detectives office through Yokohama Chinatown, past Yokohama Bridge and to the airport complete with obligatory moving conveyor belt. From here the search shifts to Europe, a well known hot bed for gothic terror groups. Highlights include a very surreal grapple with a Swiss puppet. Playable also as Seishiro who seems more suited to hunting the undead, both characters have a plethora of crunching special moves. The only minus being the poor quality of the in game speech. A very rare title on the Engine, but very worthwhile.
