Super Darius II

The epic Darius series hit a pinnacle with this epoch making release for the PC Engine. Programmed with the full capacity of the hardware, NEC crafted one classy shooter - intriguingly so with NEC not even being the original producers of the series. Still someone must have done their homework as the usual unexpected twists and turns are all in there with multiple routes and bizarre bosses plus a tough challenge with all power ups lost on being hit. The inspirational soundtrack will hopefully encourage the intrepid on as it reaches a powerful crescendo.
