Vertically scrolling shooter hailing from the old school as the projectiles come in bunches of less than a hundred per second. But whilst its from the traditional camp it isn't any push over with each bullet seemingly aimed right for your ship. Features Raiden and Raiden II converted from the arcades. The attention to detail is outstanding as you can see the debris cascade to earth or sea in tiny pieces. But its not only the developer who is required to have a fine eye for detail: with such tiny bullets whizzing past the player needs to have every retinal sinew firing off to survive. There is an art to capturing power ups in Raiden II too as they rotate between the different weapons: collect it on the wrong type and you're back to a weaker weapon than the one you've already got upgraded to near the max.
