L.O.L is a genre bending Dreamcast experience worthy of a much wider audience with no linguistic obstacles to enjoying its charms. Gameplay involves helping other beings in an organic gaming world to evolve by showing them a little bit of care and attention. Later elements involve puzzle solving as the players creature slides up the evolutionary scale. The soundtrack was produced by the mighty Ryuichi Sakamoto of Mr Lawrence fame and has that same spine tingling effect with each note bridging the synapses for its length. Overall this is probably the least known Dreamcast title whose abundant talent unfortunately enjoys an inverse relationship with its fame. Spread the word.
