Gradius Generations

Highly detailed horizontally scrolling shooter of legendary status where volcanic flares lick ominously at the ships wings ploughing into deepest space. Ingenious levels that make use of ice blocks and revolving asteroids to make sure the pilot keeps a beady eye on the landscape, not just approaching ships. Forgivingly players get to keep a power up and are ported back to the last stage passed, as opposed to the start of the level. Known as Gradius Galaxies in the West.
