The game that had the popular papers up in arms with its digitised sprites, fatality moves and buckets of blood giving MK a selling point over SFII. Clean animation, but sanitised in line with Nintendo's clean living image. Winding an opponent in on a harpoon or freezing them to ice remains strangely gratifying. But Genki rarely can land a fatality move under pressure.
