The final Treasure release for the Mega Drive commands a hefty price in Japan due to the low print run coming late in the systems life cycle. Hence the treble figure price. Never released Stateside, the PAL version also commands a tidy packet. Thankfully released though as rumours were Treasure considered canning the whole project. Maybe that's why it skips the small fry leaving you just giant bosses to defeat in this twist on the platform shooter. Special effort has been lavished on the backgrounds - not that you're given a second to appreciate them, with Terminator style machinery littering the scene. Cunning is required for weapon selection and the dash facility needs to be used tactically to avoid the many tight fixes hemmed in by enemies. The time limit also adds to the claustrophobic feel. One of the finest Mega Drive titles that gives no corner.
Second hand. Features in the top ten collectables, Edge's Mega Drive Collectors Series. Tiny dog ears on two edge corners on front of manual with slight fingernail impressions on the reverse.
