Wonderfully realised marine environment which sees Ecco glide effortless through the aquatic areas. Also benefits from the well-honed gameplay of the series in which you search under water for items and complete tasks. Just watch out for the sharks, swordfish needing a quick sonar ray to be dispatched and octopuses getting a little too friendly with their tentacles. All in all a fine advert for the Sega corporation: a highly original piece of programming and a fine haul to any Sega collectors bag.
