Thankfully without the cigarette burns or the worn out buttons due to the guy in front having used a Tippex bottle over the run buttons comes a modern day take on the arcade game as much a part of the Eighties as Daley Thompson. The stylus is used to rub and tap on the base screen to generate speed or power and the top screen shows the fruit of your toil. The characters are beautifully rendered and some nice surprises can be unlocked in characters from Metal Gear Solid and even Silent Hill. Mini games break up the action well; the Castlevania based one particularly fun. But it takes determination to get the record like a true Olympian. Twenty four types of game with potential link up for up to four players making for some nostalgia filled button bashing. The touch screen makes for the stylus coming into play and some craft to match the brawn.
