The PC Engine Duo combined the standard Hu Card compatible PC Engine and the CD Rom unit with souped up specs negating the need for system cards. It can also play Super CD games too and as such is an excellent way to enjoy some fine and exclusive import-only titles of which there are many on the Engine.
Second hand. **Important Notice: the background music doesn't play in game, only the sound effects.** Please note this console is boxed with joypad, AV (red, white and yellow) cable and a Japanese power pack, but no manual. The inner card box holding the cables is also missing. Console has quite a few scratches on the lid and more on the base, but is otherwise in decent shape. Cardboard box is in a decent enough condition if you consider its age. Granted there are plenty of light creases and scuff marks on the edges with a price sticker, but the overall integrity is fine part from a hole in one side from the power pack prongs.. May require a step down transformer (sold separately) depending on country of use. Compatible with NTSC capable televisions only. Serial number 26057491B.
