Dodonpachi

Sequel to the Cave arcade classic Donpachi, which was also converted to the Saturn. Despite a relative abundance of shooters on Sega's cult machine, Dodonpachi oozes confidence to stand proud at the top of the class. The wave of attacks, chain shot that works as a score multiplier and general style of this title was often mimicked (but rarely bettered) showing what an instrumental release it was.
