Sports
Based on the two Japanese leagues (Pacific and Central), this update of the popular Greatest Nine series utilises polygon players to add to the swish looking stadia. Worth a look for the baseball fan and a bargain, brand new addition to the Saturn collector.

Sega Saturn
Simulation
An adventure with plenty of political intrigue as the Psycotron technology goes astray being shipped from old Communist Russia to the US of A. Plenty of FMV interviewing follows as the player is charged with the task of charging someone with the disappearance amongst the wreckage of political paranoia.
Sega Saturn
Puzzle
Like all the best puzzlers – easy to pick up, but refuses to let go. Puyo Puyo is at the pinnacle of its genre: sublime, fluid gameplay backed up with zany characters including a samurai mole and a grape aubergine…?
Sega Saturn
Puzzle
Final Puzzle Bobble release on the Saturn packed full of modes as you’d expect from Taito – even utilising some of their back catalogue of crazy characters. The most intriguing mode is a level edit allowing you to design your own fiendish fantasy puzzles.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
FMV adventure where participants get to select where to go next alongside having to answer or ask queries from time to time. Suitably hammy acting adds to the appeal of this past genre.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Opening with an impressive Golgo 13 style assassination of the President and the aftermath, the sequel to Quovadis immediately cranks up the tension. Players take to their mech suits and move around the overhead arenas fighting it out against dark terrorist forces, kept company by some well animated avatars and interrupted by important developments via the anime cut scenes. Quantum leap forward in the series.
Sega Saturn
RPG
Solve the riddle of the mystery virus running rife through the hospital in this (dare we type it) FMV based adventure.

Demo version of a real curiosity in that it’s a game with no graphics having been released after Warp’s president Kenji Eno san received letters from blind gamers requesting some of his D inspired magic. A love story set in Tokyo.
Sega Saturn
RPG
Quite experimental work coming from Sega, but we can’t expect perfection everytime. Certainly has it’s moments to recommend it to RPG fans. The appearance of Crow man ‘Kuroyasha’ being one of Genki’s favourite.

Sega Saturn
RPG
The game’s story involves the pursuit of a demon who has kidnapped one of the team’s younger brothers. The team includes bespectacled Westerner Charlie Watts whose dodgy attempts at communication in Japanese far exceed the Genki team’s best efforts!
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Homestay game played out as Ryoko san involving dating and cooking. Originally a PC Engine title.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Enjoy the hot summer holiday together with Ryoko san in this popular love simulation series from Japan.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Subtitled Futari, or two people, as Ryoko takes a back seat role for Kaori to lend a hand. Fans of the series and genre will lap up the J Pop tinged department store style BGM and the illustration is exquisite.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Showcasing all that is popular in these sim games: love interest, beautiful graphics and of course a few fights along the way. The new gaming feature the original introduced was the use of trust points awarded or deducted as a result of interactions with other characters that effect the overall endings. A huge Sega title for the discerning otaku.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Luscious anime adventure mixing love and war. Ogami return’s from the Imperial Navy to lead Hanagumi and their steam powered contraptions. (Very) Big in Japan.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Famed for its footage of Ms. Chisa Yokoyama performing the Sakura Wars anthem complete with full Sakura Wars, Shinto inspired outfit with some good backing from the loyal crowd of devotees. The media disk takes the form of an imperial era newspaper which is scanned for info with certain sections revealing mini dating games and plenty for the Sakura Wars fan. The presentation is excellent too: a small example being the greeting when the Saturn is booted up which varies from a morning Ohayou! To an evening Konbanwa, along with a few special dates along the way.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
The Sakura series has a huge following and this is a mish mash of sub games, interviews, songs and of course anime from the celebrated series.
Sega Saturn
A Bit Special
Tanto R is a popular Sega developed party game title that was followed up by Ichitanto R and re-released on the PS2 under the Sega Ages banner. Here we have the third release in the series. Light hearted action and puzzle mini games make up the action which is fast and frantic but most importantly plenty of fun. For example, a towel must be rubbed along the kung fu mans back to keep away colds. Or passengers must be pushed onto the overcrowded trains.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Set in a spooky, abandoned school; your task is to save the children who have wandered in there from the kancho monster (if Genki’s Japanese is up to scratch!) Goes full circle with the FMV being so badly acted it becomes funny.
Sega Saturn
Sports
Very tidy fishing fest as players cast out for that elusive, fighting sea bass. Both the fisherman and the underwater action are well represented, even a recipe for the fish is provided for those up on their lingo. But no real language barrier stand between man and bass, just good tactics.
Sega Saturn
Puzzle
Light hearted puzzle and quiz title which excels in multiplayer especially with a multitap. Varied action keeps things fresh and ticking along very nicely.

Sega Saturn
Puzzle
Light hearted puzzle and quiz title which excels in multiplayer especially with a multitap. Varied action keeps things fresh and ticking along very nicely in Tanto R, whilst the Shukudai (or ‘homework’) game may prove a bit of a chore without linguistic skills.
Sega Saturn
Sports
Well crafted kick around with four player mode a scream, although as such unlikely to be contributing much to the Respect campaign. Utilises world teams and the game engine has a good balance of arcade feel with varied goal scoring.
