A nice little addition for the dedicated Saturn cone head collector with this one level demo to whet the appetite. Slick card presentation case with glossy finish containing instructions and shots.
Sega Saturn
Action
Sega farmed out the work for Sonic R, but you’d do well to tell as it seems to have been programmed with an inside out knowledge of the Saturn hardware such are the stunning effects in this 3D racing title that positively flies along. Collect the rings as you go but enjoy the ride and fine scenery too. Spine sun faded.
Sega Saturn
Shoot Em Up
Vertically scrolling shmup with smashing characterisation to spice up the on screen onslaught. Twelve colourful characters in all to choose from in this very special package.
Sega Saturn
Shoot Em Up
Up there with the best of Saturn blast fests, which is no mean feat. Unique lock on system allows you to unleash untold destruction. Massive bosses. Clever sprite scaling makes for a great looking Tokyo to fly over as enemies scale in and out of range. Lovely attention to detail as shrapnel plummets to earth.
Sega Saturn

Sega Saturn
Sports
More arcade feel than other games of this stable. It’s hard to explain the feeling of nurturing a young foal into the derby winner. But it’s good!
Sega Saturn
One on One Beat Em Up
Superbly honed to give a balanced bout. Demonstrates the Saturn’s fine 2D prowess as it throws beautiful pastal shaded combatants effortlessly around the screen.

Players are encharged on a fresh planet with a team of three robots: demolisher, lumberjack and builder. Players then built tress, cut them down to build houses and suitably disrupt opponents plans to dominate the planet, whilst keeping an eye on your team of grafting robots. Simple eh?
Sega Saturn
Simulation
The title translates as Pacific Storm and features as you no doubt guessed, a take on the events of the Pacific Ocean during World War II. The scene is set with grainy footage of the war (and that’s nothing to do with the Saturns video capabilities.) Cut scenes use computer modelling to replicate the action. Saturn completists will no doubt value the authentic appearing, canvas booklet which replicates war time document holders.
Sega Saturn
A Bit Special
Demos of Sengoku Blade, Stakes Winner, Street Racer Extra and Magic Carpet with a feature on AM2 and a look at Shining The Holy Ark.
Sega Saturn
Rhythm
A fun music synthesiser to play around with tracks and allow the TV Band to play it with some nice animation sequences. Easy to follow menu and some fine effects.
Sega Saturn
RPG
An alternate evil world existing alongside our own is the setting for this evil adventure from Hudson Soft. Crammed on to two disks.
Sega Saturn
RPG
Refreshing European style take on the stragtegic RPG, especially as done from a Japanese developer’s perspective. Great attention to detail as troops shout before attacking.
Sega Saturn
A Bit Special
A collector curio multimedia disk based on the mad Japanese cooking show in which the Iron Chef takes on all comers in a challenge to produce the finest dish based on bizarre ingredients. Puts our Ainsley to shame… Also know by its Japanese name: Ryouri no Tetsujin Kitchen Stadium Tour.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Running a convenience store is certainly hard work. Especially if your Japanese reading skills aren’t up to it like most of the Genki team! Don’t forget to change the bento boxes when the best before time has run out. Curiosity value.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Be a winner at the game of life with this Saturn version of the popular board game that melds money, love and education in one title. Known in Japan as DX Jinsei Game.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Build up the medieval town with strategic planning and charge around hacking and slashing with your sword to ensure it remains the pristine paradise it is meant to be. Fine FMV sequences of its era, as Crystal Dynamics loved.
Sega Saturn
Sports
Virtua Fighter style polygon pugilists go head to head and toe to toe in this early Saturn release. Seemingly inspired by the Rocky series if the bad boy Victor is anything to go by. The build your own boxer mode adds that important degree of personal involvement to keep wanabee Rockys motivated as they slug their way through the later rounds.

Genki appreciates the value of a cheesey bit of FMV in gaming history and there are some nice clips in this bowling game. Players must pick a partner from the not quite roster of spring chickens. The bowling action is well represented with some good reactions from your partner, however many pins go down.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Captures the market in sky scraper sims in one swoop as players build up their dream tower from the base up and get to add delightful extras such as the office, the noodle shop, the hamburger bar or even the bag section of a department store. Then the ambitious architect can sit back and enjoy the results like little computer people watching the good folk go about their business.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Gets those French Fries laced with salt and watch the drink sales soar. Nothing too fried too close to the big roller coasters though as no one wants to see what their fellow park attendees have been having for lunch. Genre breaking title to treat gamers with an eye for the unusual.
Sega Saturn
Shooter
Update of the Mega CD release sees great visual strides taken as you fly your helicopter on a variety of 3D missions unleashing some almighty firepower from the skies.
Sega Saturn
A Bit Special
