Bahamut Lagoon

Stunning visuals as you'd expect from a Square title, but its late release in the Super Famicom's life cycle showed what can be done with a full grip on the machine's architecture, even down to a near CD quality intro of epic proportions. Not mere eye candy: the combat system has been honed to near perfection. A real work of art.
