Famicom Mini Series capture the imaginative packaging and the unforgiving, old school gameplay of the source material from the Nintendo Famicom Disk Drive - never released outside Japan. The Series was commissioned to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Famicom or NES and the carts come in yellow like the Famicom disks. This Japanese exclusive release is in high demand for its sublime Mario gameplay. Perhaps its the slightly higher difficulty level that restricted its release, but Mario fans will lap it up.
