Contra's run and gun action never made the transition to full 3D, but with epoch setting titles like this it was never going to be an easy shift into 3D. A more appropriate title for the game would have come from the Japanese original subtitle: Hardcore. The protective slide is a necessity to progress with one hit deaths. The parallax levels add a glorious sheen to the whole title with cityscapes scrolling past. Just a shame you aren't give a second to appreciate them. A real, rare treat.
Second hand. Complete with registration card, though it has a slight impression on the corner. Cart sticker peel on reverse corner. A tiny scuff to the front cover of the game box where it has protruded from the front cover.
