At the start of this epic adventure the player is killed at closing time and is transformed into a vampire by a mysterious magician to be able to return to seek revenge on the earth. As such the player of Kain can drink the blood of humans after bashing them around a bit - a necessary evil to sustain the health meter sufficiently. Kain can also transform in true Dracula style into a dog, a bat, mist even human form to avoid random assaults. Nice variation on the fantasy themed RPG with plenty of supernatural source material incorporated to maintain the grip on players. Also known as Blood Omen Legacy of Kain.
