Based loosely on the Shadows of the Empire book the devlopers have used a fair slice of artistic license and why not when it means you can add in bad boy bounty hunter Boba Fett who didn’t appear in the book? The first few levels are actually based on the Empire Strikes Back including a delightful rendition of taking down an AT-AT using the winch. Taking on TIE fighters is also a real treat for Star Wars fans with excellent variety throughout the game.

RPG
The epic opus does itself more than justice of the GBA with a high level of detail poured into this labour of love. The RPG action translates well to the dimensions of the smaller screen and the sprite based world will pull a heart string with gamers long enough in the tooth to remember the 16Bit era.
Playstation

Strikes a fine balance between the night time excitement of being out on the town and the thrill of the dice being thrown on the table. Well presented and good fun.
Sega Saturn
One on One Beat Em Up
Many believe this should have been released with the Saturn instead of the original version. Yet the pressure of hardware release deadlines meant that the somewhat rushed VF came out first and this superior VF Remix a few months later.
Playstation

The City of Gold style anime introduction certainly gets Genki all misty-eyed and ready for this RPG quest with smaller scale sprites allowing players to breeze through its locales on their epic quest. Subtitled Souheiden.

Genki feared the worse when the news leaked of a GC debut sequel of the delightful Wave Race. Nintendo well and truly delivered the goods keeping the originals relentless, arm pit tingling gameplay and improving the water transparencies beyond anything seen before. Truly miraculous effects that remain cutting edge even today.
Playstation

An unusual game in that it puts players in a canoe heading downstream rapidly, especially when you hit the rapids.
