Hanafuda is a Japanese card game translating as flower cards due to the illustrations. The game is set on what looks like the main shopping street and there are some nicely animated cut scenes, especially considering its cart-based source. The title translates as Angel’s Promise.

A Jurassic Park style simulation where players breed their own animals to populate the lands. The animals are very cute and the presentation very slick.

Lets Saturn owners set up their own aquarium and sit back and relax as the fish manoeuvre swimmingly well around the tank, slowly transfixing the viewer; all set to relaxing music.

This is a mouse and mousepad compatible with the PlayStation 2 game software “Bikkuri Mouse”. A very ergonomically and aesthetically pleasing design to this USB mouse that is themed in the Bikkuri Mouse game yellow and characters.

Shoot Em Up
Switch update of the Playstation classic with 70’s Robot Anime Geppy X gets the shmup treatment and what a treat it is for shooter heads and anime fans with each of the eight episodes being a small chapter in the story with anime introduction, closing sequences and even some bonus material complete with superb voice acting. Captures the retro feel of the source anime very well with a nostalgic feel to proceedings and chunky feel to the robot controls. Horizontally scrolling with a directional switch button and big, bold sprites. Also taking a hit stops your energy bar charging up for a super shot in a nod to the hardcore shmup fraternity.
Famicom Cart
Platform
A superb platform game in the Castlevania mould resurrected by Retro Bit to bring it to the West as it was only a Japan exclusive, until now. A true labour of love, but well-worth the effort and the dedication shines through like sunlight through a stained glass window.
GameBoy Original
Simulation
The dog wanders around the house and the owner gets to select from different icons to keep it stimulated and avoid it chewing the Famicom in the background. Simple games of catch in the garden are strangely compelling.

Dynamite Soccer plays a quick fire, arcade style game with the ball pinging around in the midfield area. The sprightly mechanics make for a fine football engine with excitement generated from the quick fire action.

Sports
A fun adaptation of the manga and anime series that featured a mule that ran hard to get the better of thoroughbred rivals in order to try and buy back his mother who was sold. The galloping sequences are well made with Makibao running diagonally across teh screen, avoiding hazards as you sprint along.

A very useful cable, that may not boast stereo sound, but can be used with the New Style Famicom, Super Famicom and N64 as Nintendo helpfully points out on the box.

PC Engine GT owners felt the future was now when this attachment landed allowing them to tune in to analogue TV Signals and watch through their handheld GT. Can be used by those with the willing to link up other devices through its AV cable headphone jack style input.
