Based on the superbly slick coin - op, this conversion to the PS2 is also faithful to the manga source material as main man Takumi secretly street races whilst carrying out his duties as a tofu delivery boy. Makes full use of the license with cut scenes and manga style pictures. Tight play mechanics make for some truly competitive races. Successfully finishing in top spot sees you pick a card to allow you to improve your vehicle, but it takes a bit of practise to hit the heights of first place, especially racing in the dark, though it makes for great atmospherics. Just ignore the taunts of Natsuki and her avatar.
