Oozes atmosphere being set in a Japan on a head on collision with modernisation and ever so stunningly realised as you'd expect from the artisans of SNK. Even the music has been given an Oriental flair for understatement with simple water drips in a cave or the crack of thunder adding to the mood. Satisfyingly solid gameplay mechanics with a nice touch of being able to heavy block your opponents assault so they are open to a slash of steel from your sword.
