Japanese Sega Master System (New)

The Master System enjoyed great success here in the UK thanks to a great array of affordable titles. This is the Japanese version of the console that is most sought after for two reasons: firstly the underground success of the Saturn and Dreamcast spored some hardcore Sega fans in Japan who then tracked their collections back to the Master System and beyond. Secondly the console includes a nine channel mono FM sound chip not included in the overseas versions, used to great effect in titles such as Phantasy Star. But rest assured, whilst compatible with them, those skull-crushing, retina ruining 3D glasses aren't included in the pack.
