Sega Saturn

Here we have all the games in the Sega Saturn Section.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Rather off kilter adventure with plenty of FMV sequences as you solve puzzles and gain necessary items such as oil for a rusty door to progress. Its not until the second disk that things start going a bit astray though. Impressive attention to the graphics from Sega. Known in the West as Lunacy. Full title ‘Gekka Mugentan Torico.’
Sega Saturn
Sports
Gaining entry to the winners paddock involves plenty of hard slog in the wind and rain before feeling the sun on your back and the taste of sweet champagne in the enclosure.
Sega Saturn
Shoot Em Up
Lushly pastel shaded vertically scrolling shoot ’em up from the reliable Konami stable celebrating ten years of Twinbee. Off – shoot of the Gradius and Parodius series. Shooter heads may find its frivolous gameplay a little easy, but everyone will enjoy the ride.
Sega Saturn
Shoot Em Up
An interesting look into the psyche of the Japanese game developer with some bizarre and often culturally confused imagery ensuring the action remains fresh and invigorating. This is actually a compilation of the two Super Famicom versions Parodius and Ultimate Parodius souped up for the Saturn. Also known as Gokujyo Parodius.
Sega Saturn
One on One Beat Em Up
Subtitled: Darkstalkers’ Revenge. The Saturn was made for titles of this ilk: wonderfully balanced characters hammering it out in 2D bliss. You can feel Capcom’s spark return in this Saturn classic.

Sega Saturn
One on One Beat Em Up
Final part of the series on the Saturn sees strides made to improve the play mechanics over Vampire Hunter and includes the exquisite death moves. Incredibly fluid animation with Capcom squeezing out every iota from the Saturn and Ram cart to bring the arcade experience home.
Sega Saturn
Action
Multiplayer madness as up to six players battle it out in jeeps using various over the top weapons to destroy each other’s vehicle. Lots of graft has gone into coding the visuals which look great as the screen zooms in and out, not quite as slick as the intro mind. But the gameplay is a real hoot too.
Sega Saturn
Sports
Well crafted kick around with four player mode a scream, although as such unlikely to be contributing much to the Respect campaign. Utilises world teams and the game engine has a good balance of arcadey feel with varied goal scoring.
Sega Saturn
One on One Beat Em Up
Could the Saturn have beaten the Playstation had this release been the version ‘Remix’ was? Still sold by the bucketload. AM2 flexing it’s Naomi board porting muscles.
Sega Saturn
One on One Beat Em Up
With graphics as fluid as old man Shun’s drunken style kung – fu, jaws dropped over the huge leap from the predecessor to make this the series finest hour?
Sega Saturn
A Bit Special
Get further involved in the Virtua Fighter series as gamers get to meet Akira more in his familiar surrounds practising kung fu. Lots of footage make this a very tidy addition to the GG collection.
Sega Saturn

A collectors item for fans of VF: watch Jacky about town in his sports car, hussling the pool hall or prancing around with his Dalmatian! Owners of five or more of the series were rewarded with a special Dual disk.

Sega Saturn
One on One Beat Em Up
Super Deformed versions of Lau, Wolf, Pai et al in a light hearted take on the VF series.
Sega Saturn
One on One Beat Em Up
Many believe this should have been released with the Saturn instead of the original version of Virtua Fighter. Yet the pressure of hardware release deadlines meant that the somewhat rushed VF came out first and this superior VF Remix a few months later. This is the original print run – identicle to the second print apart from having the ‘Special Limited Edition’ label on the front cover.
Sega Saturn
Stimulation
Anime style, telephone dating adventure worthy of the yellow label warning. Sega seems far less willing to censor its games than Sony, hence an abundance of this kind of title on the Saturn. Genki has been desperately trying to impress lady in red Karen, but alas…
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Battle mech against mech through various arenas as Sega’s in house programmers work wizardry using the Saturns 2D and 3D architecture. Not quite arcade perfect, but pushes the Saturn to the limits without going to far and causing slowdown.
Sega Saturn
Sports
Imagineer pushes the boundaries of this tennis title in going for a polygon approach to this Saturn title. The outer space court particularly impresses with Earth looming large in the background and some breath taking tennis.
Sega Saturn
Sports
International clash of polygon based volleyball teams. Not quite up to Dead or Alive standards, but puts up a solid enough spike in a limited field on the Saturn.
