Astro Boy Tetsuwan Atom (Cart Only)

Atom, a creation of the genius of Tezuka Osamu san, is given a gaming outing to do his seminal manga series justice. Mode 7 flying sections are present, but the bulk of gameplay is made up of very tidy platform sections. Atom's ability to fly and deliver a rocket punch elevates this above your standard platforming fare. His abilities put to good use such as with his torch like eyes in the darkness of the spooky haunted house. There's also a futuristic forced scrolling level for Atom to negotiate claustrophobic confined spaces using his rocket propulsion.
