Features wrestlers from the All-Japan Pro Wrestling, Noah and Zero-One Productions federations, Square shows itfs a mean competitor in the ring. A triumph of quality over quantity with detailed wrestler graphics even down to the facial freckles and subtle nods of realism with spots of blood and grimaces of pain. Control is intuitive with three varying strength attacks and simple button bashing will not win the bout, merely tire the wrestler out. Button mashing is used effectively though: none more so than the frantic battle to get back up after a hefty pile driver.
