Sega Hardware
Controller
Compatible with the likes of Wing Arms, Soviet Strike, Black Fire… The Mission Stick brings the flight of fancy to such airbourne titles and really adds the extra dimension to the gameplay. If you thought Desert Strike got a bit hairy with a joypad, try using the Mission Stick to finish Soviet Strike. Sega once more shows its supreme love of its fan base in making this stick switchable between left and right sides. Bravo! Also has a turbo fire feature and thumb throttle.

Sega Hardware
Accessory
Bold venture at the time from Sega to get gamers online for virtual stand offs on Virtua Fighter Remix which is included in the pack. Also included are the Sega Saturn Internet Vol. 1 disk to boot up and Pad Nifty which helped the Saturn communicate with PCs. Not wishing to treat it as the Holy Grail, but quite a rare find and a very collectable curio.
Sega Hardware
Controller
Very slick, off white controller which can have the angle adjusted to suit your set up. Makes race titles far more enjoyable as your car power slides into pole position. Re release as the initial release was in black.
Sega Hardware
Cable
Tasty, tried and tested, custom built RGB scart cable for the Sega Saturn to enjoy a fine picture on an NTSC capable television. Put together with some serious competence and a steady, steady hand.
Sega Hardware
Controller
Sankyo produce pachinko machines, so their controller accurately replicates the handle used in the arcades to control the speed of the steel balls that fly here, there and everywhere within the machine. A great collector curio and adds much to games for those fans of the hobby.
Sega Hardware
Controller
With slow motion, turbo and autofire settings the Tornado is a fine third party pad and has a nice feel in the hands.
Merchandise
Merchandise
Nail your Sega colours to the mast with this fine tribute to the much loved console. The straps were released by Sega Direct to be attached to phones or keychains. Retro chic at its highest.
Sega Hardware
Controller
Designed for use with the AM2 cracker Virtual On with massive mecha trying to crush each other. Makes the game a real joy when you master the control of the double stick system. Chic Retro feel to the graphical overlay on the sticks top panel.
Sega Hardware
Controller
Spacious and well laid out with turbo feature bringing you closer to Sonic Team and AM2 than ever before.
Sega Hardware
Controller
Tidy spare pad in the white design with multicoloured buttons. Well designed feeling snug in the hand even when in the tightest of shmup corners facing a barrage of shrapnel.
Famicom Cart

PS2
A Bit Special
Based on the Japanese TV show, you must play a mysterious super hero whose identity remains a secret and battle aliens in a manner that keeps the shows ratings on the up. Fun and fresh with plenty of lycra and some very imaginative scenarios around town.
Super Famicom
RPG
Improves the visuals of Secret of the Mana to an exquisite standard whilst tidying up the AI of party members to make group movement more responsive. And that party can be made up of your standard RPG fare members but may also include imaginative additions such as a werewolf or Amazonian native. Mind you the whole gaming world is teeming with creative creatures and intriguing comrades imploring you to delve deeper and discover more. Thankfully the real time battle system remains firmly intact as it certainly wasn’t broke.

Figures
Figure
Incredibly detailed and beautifully painted figure for those who want to pay homage to the Legend of Mana and its fantasy RPG theme. Japanese figures really do set the bar high with the incredible production values.
Nintendo DS
RPG
Set years before the third instalment, players build up a merry band of monsters, plenty of tactical nous and a dose of heavy weaponry to take on various missions of real time tactical strategy. The game draws players in to its grasp with compelling gameplay and great use of the touch screen allowing for fast paced stand offs.
Famicom Cart
RPG
Japanese adventure with plenty of unusual supernatural occurrences that seem quite bizarre looking from the occident. Actually, they will undoubtedly seem pretty bizarre looking from the orient.
PS2
Action
A dream marriage of Capcom’s action credentials and the warring period of Japan. Full of brash colours and a fabulous array of weaponry.
PC Engine CD ROM
Simulation
War simulator delving into Japan’s historic feudal past with plenty of samurai haircuts and caste to raid in order to control the strategic Kanto area.
PC Engine HU Card
Simulation
Nice version of the popular table game set during the warring period in Japan and with banter to match from the various combatants set in the speech style of the era. Win the different prefectures area by area. In the retro gaming speak of old: have you got what it takes to rule over all Japan?
PS2
Action
Set in the warring period in Japan’s history, this title involves plenty of action in the battlefield with a bit of tactical nous needed every now and then to help your quest. Take on rival clans in fully pitched battles to become the ultimate Daimyo, but be warned desire can never be quenched; so choose your battles carefully so as not to stretch your resources too thinly on the ground. Known as Samurai Warriors in the West.
Dreamcast
RPG
Very bizarre role playing game looking like it was inspired by Little Big Adventure with plenty of psychedelic happenings. The graphical style and gaming style is perfectly suited to the cult hero Dreamcast.
Playstation
RPG
Classical Chinese setting for this adventure complete with a senior gentleman who wouldn’t look out of place in the Zu Warriors from the Magic Mountains. The towns look delightful and the music suitably classy.
XBOX 360
Shoot Em Up
Unusual twist on the shooter genre with G Rev putting a isometric slant on proceedings as two players (or the CPU plus one player) battle it out amongst some huge, spiraling bosses trying to deflect shots onto opponents. Occasion power ups lead to a vast transformation of your ship to unleash the mother of all shooter assaults on a suitably dwarfed opponent. Being Naomi based would have made for a fine DC conversion, as such the 360 takes more DC refugees under its all encompassing wing.

Soundtracks
Soundtrack
Double, bumper CD from the famed Senran Kagura series that has many devotees to its femme fatale fight formula.
PS4
Shooter
A fine deviant from the usual gal on gal fight fest with the pretty protagonists taking to having a water fight. Surprising depth to the gameplay with power jumps and slides a must to progress and avoid a soaking. Fine roster of water pistols too.
PS Vita
One on One Beat Em Up
Here is the formula: play as a pretty lady with some serious weaponry, such as pigtails with rotating blades. Clear a small section of the stage by taking on hordes of adversaries, often fellow ladies. Progress through the level to meet the boss. Power up and reveal (via an anime sequence) a skimpier outfit and seemingly boosting your stats other than your vital stats. Give boss a good beating and cause her to lose items of clothing (again via anime sequences.) Defeat boss, end level. Stylishly done with a real aplomb and an appreciation of the mass market as much as the doujin title. Hats off (and not just to protect the boss’ modesty.)
