Columbus Circle releases are a real labour of love with the fine grasp of the hardware making some beautiful sprites reminiscent of Rockman. Yet, like Mega Man, the cute sprites betray the challenge lying beneath them, a bit like slippery slope of black ice masked by a layer of glistening snow. The developers are clearly in tune with modern mobile gaming and it is skilfully blended with the old school to produce a gourmet experience.
