Shop

Here we have all the games in the Shop Section.
Sega Hardware
Controller
The best way to get the party started with these official maracas for use with the Samba De Amigo series. Its no slur on Sega though to say sometimes its more fun to watch the participant rather than the on screen action. Quite hard to track down these days.
Sega Hardware
Cable
Third party AV cable with the red and white stereo outputs and the yellow visual output. For use with the Dreamcast.
Sega Hardware
Accessory
A handy, yet alas somewhat obsolute device, but an ace addition for the DC completist. Allowed gamers to switch the telephone line between using the phone for online gaming and for making calls.
Merchandise
Merchandise
A game catalogue full of niche charm to demonstrate the Dreamcast’s wares before YouTube. Sonic Adventure, Sega Rally 2, Power Stone plus another twelve games including Shenmue.
Sega Hardware
Memory Card
Nice translucent blue finish to this VMU which allows users to toy around with their saved data. Dreamcast: we salute you.
PS2
Sports
Break neck speed race title with a suitable soundtrack with enough beats to generate a potential nosebleed. Plenty of famous sites in the backgrounds but its hard to savour them first time round. Instead its left for the replays to be able to check out your paintwork and the sights on offer. But its clinging to the tail lights that will have most gamers lapping this up.
PS2
Sports
‘Feel the sports emotion’ as Square tackle real world physics of racing with a plethora of Japanese sports cars. Includes the Suzuka and lesser known Tsukuba circuits.
PC Engine HU Card
Puzzle
An evil oni has placed the beautiful Izumi san under his spell and its up to Takashi to break her out of it by, in true game logic, playing break out! Vertical scrolling and apples instead of bricks bring variety to the retro gameplay.
PS2
Rhythm
Genki soon discovered to lack any sort of rhythmical talent when trying to drum to the tune of ‘salt, pepper, mustard vinegar’. But no sour grapes to those who can follow the beats and have the music in them in Konami’s funky drumming game.
Nintendo Hardware
Accessory
A chunkier King Slime uses his fine, rotund girth to good effect as up to three DS carts can be stored in the reverse. A handy way to carry games and keep the pins clean.

Nintendo Hardware

Nintendo 64
One on One Beat Em Up
Various super heroes looking like Dural crossed with the Power rangers enjoy the 3D arenas with Lethal Challenges possible as pugilists lock horns during battle. Its possible to bet on the outcome (not that Genki would condone such unprofessionalism) and some tasty combos add to the impressive package.
Super Famicom
RPG
Aurally this must be one of the most pleasing games on the system with some delightful cheery sunny day music, via the regal pomp of the palace to the stirring sequences that visually impress too in Mode 7. The story draws players in and this has aged like a fine claret to be one of the more desirable RPGs on a system renowned for some of the finest.
Playstation
Simulation
Minecraft before its time as RPG fans create their own dungeon based role playing game complete with shops and the obligatory monsters.
PC Engine Super CD ROM
RPG
Really kicks on from the Hu Card prequel utilising the CD format to add more cut-scene candy to replace the imagination required by its previous incarnation.
Sega Saturn
Simulation
Be a winner in the game of life as players progress round the board dealing with the many dilemmas life may throw up. Initially players decide their appearance, gender and type of car in a nice nod to personalise the game to the players character. Known in Japanese as the DX Jinsei Game.
Dreamcast
Action
Full of Sega’s arcade prowess making it to the DC via the Model 2 arcade board with a few cosmetic enhancements. Multiple routes are possible but this is just like its Hollywood counterpart Die Hard in that action comes above all else.
Mega Drive
Shooter
On the rails shooter where the screen scrolls along as Duke shoots into it like in the Neo Geo classic Nam 75 and I suppose Operation Wolf. Masses of enemy attacks keep the action frantic and frenzied as your Uzi is in near danger of seizing up. A real blast from an arcade expert.
Playstation
Sports
The budget version of Dynamite Soccer 98 plays a quick fire, arcade style game with the ball pinging around in the midfield area. The sprightly mechanics make for a fine football engine with excitement generated from the quick fire action.
šŸ†Brilliant!
Brilliant Switch
Action
Always one of the most unlikeliest names for a video game hero, Earnest Evans Collection contains his a fore named game Earnest Evans from the Mega CD era, besides the seminal MD El Viento and the cult classic from the Mega CD Anett Futatabi. Telenet always had such devoted followers and these three titles demonstrate why.

PSP
Shooter
Run and gun has never been quite this much fun as D3 shows its youth wasn’t all mis-spent knocking out B-movie style budget games. Alien invaders swarm and the screen is over-run with them at times, but the hardware handles it superbly.
