PC Engine Hardware
Console
A classic machine that rivaled the Famicom for popularity in Japan and opens up the world of PC Engine Hu Cards such as ‘Cloud Master’, ‘Jackie Chan’, ‘Gekisha Boy’, ‘Hell’s Journey’…
Dreamcast
RPG
Very bizarre role playing game looking like it was inspired by Little Big Adventure with plenty of psychedelic happenings. The graphical style and gaming style is perfectly suited to the cult hero Dreamcast.

PC Engine HU Card
Shoot Em Up
WWII themed shooter with solid play mechanics and plenty of tanks to blow up and battleships to sink. You can also call in the squadron to help out when in a fix. Originally a Hu Card release also given a CD Rom update. Conversion of this title known as Twin Hawk in the arcades was licensed from shoot ’em up fanatics Toaplan.
PC Engine Hardware
Console
The PC Engine Duo R combined the standard Hu Card compatible PC Engine and the CD Rom unit with souped up specs negating the need for system cards. The differences between the two machines are mainly cosmetic. It can also play Super CD games too and as such is an excellent way to enjoy some fine and exclusive import-only titles of which there are many on the Engine.
PC Engine Super CD ROM
Simulation
Based on the anime where modern day Tokyo and the supernatural world collide. A digital adventure not for the faint hearted. Stylish anime graphics.
PC Engine Super CD ROM
Simulation
Essentially Tenchi gets into a bit of mischief as players control his actions at varying locales as the story unfolds dependant on the players actions. Winning over the ladies hearts is what its all about, getting them to confess, like the players, into being big Tenchi fans.
PC Engine FX
Simulation
Reminiscent of Takahashi sans Urusei Yatsura as a teenage high school student must deal with being linked to a higher power in the appearances of Megami and her sometimes mischievous accomplices. Also known as Ah Megami Sama.
PC Engine FX
Simulation
A fine RPG in its own right with lush gaming world realised in great detail and all important characters of intrest so that players feel a conncetion to them. The certificate comes from the saucy cut scenes with steamy voice acting, but this game stands tall on its own.

Dreamcast
Simulation
Espion-age-nets involves various spying missions in which you must deploy your team tactfully to complete the mission. Difficult to pigeon hole with action, fighting and puzzle elements making this a stand out title. A clever use of the monitor sees your main character appear on the main screen with three mini update screens around it so you can see how the other team members are fairing and react accordingly. All done with stylised camera angles adding to the Orwellian feel.
PC Engine FX
Simulation
Romance and adventure all set to a typical game music (like you get lift music, apart from game music) and an imperial, fantasy setting think Heroic Legend of Arslan anime. Ticks all the right boxes and a popular series that spanned onto the Saturn and Playstation.
PC Engine FX
Simulation
Futuristic battle sim and nurture game as the Little Cats team gets up to plenty of mischief in deep space with all the lavish anime and voice acting you may expect from an FX title.
Dreamcast
Simulation
Giants of the PC Engine scene try their hand at 32 bit with this evolution based RPG simulation. As such one for the Engine fan boys and gals.
Playstation
Simulation
NEC cut its dating sim teeth on the PC FX and this Playstation release continues in that distinctive and knowledgeable style with a band of fair ladies full of fun to vry for the attentions of the gamer. Be wary of trying to juggle too many eggs though.
PC Engine HU Card
A Bit Special
Enjoy the legend of Momotaro which is a well known fairytale deep in the Japanese psyche and rich in oni demons and intriguing cultural references. Just keep an eye on Momotarou as he pops to the local ladies onsen.
PC Engine Super CD ROM
Simulation
Unique combination (well excluding the prequels) of RPG and quiz title. The RPG elements are very well done in the bygone era sprite style and make for a gaming world that is far easier to get emotively involved with than some CG attempts.
PC Engine Hardware
Cable
Allows the composite systems to be able to output RF video. A collectable for the PC Engine completist.
Sega Saturn
Stimulation
Working at the Pia Carrot cafe might not be such a drag with the contents warranting the Yellow Label warning. Just leave the whipped cream to the gateaux or the job might not last too long.
PC Engine Super CD ROM
Sports
Worthy of praise for the title alone, this arcade style footy title sees the giants of the J League battling in out for championship glory or success in the Emperor’s Cup. Officially licensed.
